Samsung unveiled its new AI-powered home appliances at the Welcome to Bespoke AI event, held in Seoul, Paris, and New York City. The company integrated AI into various products, enhancing user features and capabilities. Additionally, Samsung's Knox security platform ensures data protection for connected devices. Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung Electronics, emphasized the evolution of Bespoke since 2019, now featuring advanced AI connectivity for an improved consumer experience.
The event showcased several new products, including the Bespoke French Door Refrigerator with AI Family Hub, Bespoke Infinite Induction Line, and Bespoke AI Laundry Combo. Products come with Wi-Fi, AI chips, internal cameras, and SmartThings compatibility.
Key features include the AI Home 7-inch LCD panel for easy control of connected devices, and Mobile Smart Connect, which alerts users when close to appliances for quick control. The refrigerator uses AI vision to identify food and suggest recipes. The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI robot vacuum can recognize objects, pets, and different surfaces, adjusting cleaning accordingly.
Samsung also upgraded Bixby with generative AI, enabling it to understand complex requests and provide context-aware responses.
